The story
Seventh, a young crab, trains relentlessly for the journey to the ocean, where the seer crab Nono will give him a name and reveal the truth about his missing father.
But on the eve of the journey, Seventh breaks the rules by training above ground. He is snatched up in a stork’s beak and loses a claw. After that, the colony refuses to let him join.
Now Seventh must face the dangerous road to the ocean alone.

Mike de Seve
For more than two decades, Baboon Animation's team members have provided Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated writing, directing, and voice to the most successful animation studios and networks in the world.
DreamWorks Feature Animation veteran Mike de Seve oversees Baboon’s feature team of some of the best story professionals working in top-tier family features today from such studios as Pixar, DreamWorks, Disney and Illumination.
His own feature credits include the SHREK films, MADAGASCAR, MONSTERS vs. ALIENS and three other DreamWorks movies. He's also headed teams for the ANGRY BIRDS and BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD franchises and directed on the BEAVIS feature. Under his leadership, Baboon has grown to arguably the top storytelling team in family animation today.
